NB! Please, take with you warm (and very warm – it depends on how strong you are) clothes, raincoats, umbrellas, comfortable footwear (for indoor and outdoor activities) and clothes for walk outside. Visit Limbaži town "Limbažu tīne" is a textile company founded in 1914. It has a long tradition of wool production and home textile design. The company produces woollen yarn, woollen and linen fabrics, blankets, rugs, plaids and tablecloths.

The magnificent church was constructed in 1900 to 1903 in the Neo-Byzantine style according to a three section design. It was formed in the territory of Livonian period monastery. The largest orthodox church in Vidzeme (a part of Latvia) outside Riga.
